Now via Fishwrapper, “Oh, look, new besties — Miley Cyrus and Miranda  Kerr, one who smokes so much pot she can’t see straight, and the other  who Photoshops her own photos so much that she doesn’t even know what she really  looks like. Perf match!

As you can see, however, while Miranda’s looking — well, much like Miranda  normally does: all pretty and mask-like — Miley’s rocking a brand-new look that  Lady Gaga tried to pull off not too long ago: bleached  eyebrows. Bleached. Bleached so brightly that they almost look  nonexistent.

Sorry, Miley, but if you were trying for something  avant garde, this just isn’t it. If you’re gonna go beauty crazy and fashion  nuts, why don’t you try something really off the wall — like wearing a  damn pair of actual pants, huh?

Girl, you are so cute. But this is  not for you.

Here’s the story, “In some marvellous news for this morning, Star Magazine reports that Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are engaged. The couple have been quietly dating for about a year; though Star says they’d talked about marriage, Brody’s proposal was still “the surprise of [Leighton’s] life!” Unfortunately, this now puts them in the tough position of deciding between Blake Lively and Mischa Barton as their maid-of-honor (OK, it’ll obviously be Mischa) and whether to invite Chuck Bass period, because he’ll only hook up with someone at the reception and make things awkward.

p.s. Let’s please have a special Gossip Girl-meets-O.C. crossover mini series to celebrate this union. After all, the wedding would be the event of next summer for both East and West coast high society. And Blair and Seth could totally have got together on screen too, because Seth would be taking trips into the big city while he studied at RISD and they could hit it off at Lavo or something… (Don’t make me explain how I’ve planned their love story out in full, just know that it makes sense — and that Dorota is thrilled for them both.)”

Congrats Adam Brody and Leighton Meester! I’m sure many O.C./Gossip Girl fans are thrilled by this news.
