We love a red carpet that involves Brad Pitt as much as anyone, but at the Hollywood premiere of Angelina Jolie’s new film yesterday, it was his daughter Shiloh who stole the show.

While Ange was forced to stay at home with a bad case of the chickenpox, Brad walked the red carpet on her behalf with daughter Shiloh and sons Pax and Maddox – who were all rocking tuxedos.

“She likes to wear boys’ everything,” Jolie told Vanity Fair in 2010. “She thinks she’s one of the brothers … She dresses like a little dude. She likes tracksuits, she likes suits.”

Jolie added that Shiloh found it offensive when Pitt’s mother (Shiloh’s grandmother) bought her princess costumes, while Pitt added that Shiloh only answers to the name ‘John’.

“We’ve got to call her John,” Pitt said. “(I would ask) Shi, do you want …”

But that she would interrupt and say.

“John. I’m John.”

We have to give props to Jolie and Pitt for sending such a great message by allowing their daughter to express who she is.
