Michael Hutchence’s former INXS bandmates stunned by the sudden death of Peaches Geldof
The death of 25 year old Peaches Geldof is being felt greatly across the water.
The Daily Mail UK reports, “The emotional half-sister of Michael Hutchence today said she was ‘very sad’ after the death of Peaches Geldof at just 25, while the late INXS frontman’s former bandmates expressed ‘complete shock.’
A tearful Tina Hutchence struggled to speak about the tragedy but expressed great sorrow for the young mother’s family.
Peaches was the daughter of Paula Yates and Sir Bob Geldof. Yates went on to date INXS frontman Hutchence and gave birth to their child Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence.

Now 17, she was brought up by Sir Bob alongside Peaches after the deaths of both her parents.
Hutchence’s former bandmates also expressed their sadness. A spokeswoman for INXS manager CM Murphy said: ‘CM Murphy and INXS are in complete shock and need a moment to process this news’.
Peaches was found dead at her home in Wrotham, Kent, yesterday.
Just hours earlier, the mother-of-two had posted a picture of herself with her late mother on Instagram. Police are treating her death as ‘sudden’ and ‘unexplained’.
