Speaking about her song F***ed My Way to the Top, which appears on her current album Ultraviolence, the 29-year-old told Complex magazine, “You know, I have slept with a lot of guys in the industry, but none of them helped me get my record deals. Which is annoying.”

The quote from Lana comes after her recent controversial interview with The Guardian, in which she said, “I wish I was dead already.” The comment sparked a mini Twitter feud between the singer and Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of the late Kurt Cobain, who slammed Lana for glamourising death.

Meanwhile, the Born to Die singer recently split from Barrie-James O’Neill, whom she’d been dating since 2011. “We are currently not together. He is a wonderful person. But there are some things with which he has to deal. I will not explain it in detail,” Lana said previously. “This was hard on our relationship, I no longer felt free.””
