So what better way to celebrate the occasion than by buying him his own island?

At least that’s what Angelina Jolie thinks, a new report says.

According to the UK Mirror, a source has revealed Jolie has her beautiful eyes set on an island called Petra in the US for Brad Pitt‘s upcoming landmark 50th birthday – an 11-acre, heart-shaped island about 80km to the north of New York City.

“As soon as Angelina heard the island was on the market she arranged a viewing — she was really impressed,” the source said.

“The house is perfect for romantic getaways or as a family retreat. It’s very private.

“And Angelina knows the fact the island is in the shape of a heart will mean so much to him.”

The island also features a helicopter pad, and two houses designed by acclaimed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, of whom Brad is apparently a big fan.

Angelina is currently in Sydney filming her upcoming film Unbroken.”
