From Today Entertainment, “The scores of women crushing on the (very single) George Clooney want to know: what kind of woman is the inveterate bachelor looking for? In the latest issue of W magazine, the star reveals his concept of the ideal woman, and a bit about the love of his life.

“When I was a kid, I was in love with Audrey Hepburn,” he said. “I watched ‘Roman Holiday’  when I was 11, and I thought she was as elegant as anything I’d ever  seen. And I fell madly in love with her. I also always loved Grace  Kelly. I mean, when she comes out of the water in ‘To Catch a Thief,’ I thought, ‘That’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.'”

The article also included an invitation by artist Tracey Emin, who asked Clooney to answer 15 questions, after which she would make a special neon artwork for him. His answers to her are revealing: Namely, he doesn’t believe in God (and if you want to know how old Clooney is, he quips, “Ask God”) and when asked who the greatest love of his life was said, “I haven’t met her yet….”

That last bit caused a buzz on TODAY Tuesday. Tamron Hall said that Clooney admitting he hadn’t met the love of his life was “an epic dis to all of his exes.”

But Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb had a different take, suggesting Clooney already had met his ideal woman: “Gravity” co-star Sandra Bullock.

“We want those two kids to be happy,” said Gifford.

“Take one weekend and let us know how it works out,” added Kotb. “America would be very happy.””

I won’t lie, I’m rooting for George and Sandra too! I think they’d make an amazing couple.
