The dog bun, in which people — you guessed it — put their dogs hair in a bun, is a trend tracing as far back as three years ago. It’s been gaining popularity on Instagram in a big way recently, which obviously means that it will be the biggest canine fashion, nay, lifestyle statement of 2015.

Having a dog bun says something about your dog. Dogs with buns are more introspective and philosophical than their counterparts without buns. They have something to say, but they don’t need to say it, you know? Also, they probably wear cuffed jeans and recently deleted their Facebook account.
