The Metro reports, “Jason Derulo has seriously disappointed us by revealing how he dumped his fiancée Jordin Sparks – by phone. Not cool Jason, not cool.

Derulo and Sparks had been together for three years when he decided to call time on their relationship. In an interview with DJ Envy on New York’s Power 105.1 Derulo admitted that having ‘more downs than ups’ was the reason behind the dumping.

When probed on how he did the deed and whether it was in person, he said: ‘Nah, it was … it was, like, over the phone. … I wasn’t in town.’

Oh J-Dawg, you may have just officially earned yourself the title of ass.

He has denied cheating, saying that just because he’s pictured with women doesn’t mean he’s sleeping with them, but he said the split came about as he began to reassess the relationship: ‘Every relationship has their ups and downs and you know, when you start having more downs than ups, you gotta take a look at your relationship and be like, ‘Is this something that I’m supposed to be doing?’

Despite the dumping not being done face to face (what was the urgency, Jason? huh?) Jordin has been taking the split on the chin, joking that she might have to give him back the car he gave her for her birthday.”
